Frederick Hotel - Huntington WV Haunted Place

  • 940 4th Ave.
  • Huntington, WV
Dating back to 1906, The Frederick Hotel in Huntington, West Virginia, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. At one time, it was dubbed the most elegant hotel between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. Although it no longer operates as a hotel, there are some ghosts who like to stay the night... every night.

The building now houses offices and apartments, with a restaurant called "21 at The Frederick." The paranormal reports that surround the location include disembodied footsteps, the sound of keys jangling, eerie voices, and even screams. There are two children's apparitions that have been spotted in the restaurant area, and one witness even stated he heard ghosts arguing in his room and it would keep him awake throughout the night.
